They're so cute!! Once my husband's allergy shots take hold and he's no longer allergic to rats, we're getting several.

Eriathiel they are wonderful.
But have really short lifespans.
Plus you should get at least 2 , they are happier and healthier with friends.
The more love you give them, the more they give back,but losing them is heartbreaking.
I have 2 8 month old boys (Risotto and Wellington), and a spayed female (Billiejo) that I have had for 25 months. She is at least 27 months old. Her companion died in July, at an estimated 24 months. Billiejo is a darling but won't be here much longer. I never know what to expect when I walk in to see her. Since she was spayed, I got the 2 boys to keep her company when her roomie died.
But have really short lifespans.
