• Hello!

Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.

Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....

Please be certain that the location field is correctly filled out when you register. All registrations that appear to be bogus will be rejected. Which means that if your location field does NOT match the actual location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected.

Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

Poping bad?

It's not bad for its HEALTH, but you could injure the snake's reproductive parts if you do it wrong. My advice would be to try to find someone who knows how to safely and successfully pop and snake and get them to show you how to do it. Good luck.

Not bad at all. Don't do it to a snake that is over 18". Then it can become bad. Just become educated, before you do it. It takes some pressure, but not a lot. Most people that do it wrong, aren't doing it back, far enough from the vent and rolling forward. You have to be a good 1/2 inch, from the vent and roll your thumb toward it.

I am adding to Cat Eyed Lady's post, just in case you don't have a weight.
