I know it's breeding season and all -- Baptiste has been very interested in that -- but do males normally rub all over themselves? Today, he is doing the herky-jerky want a girl dance, but he's doing it to himself. He is twitching on himself, twining around his own tail, etc.

Odd behavior, or super horny boy?
 
LOL, Yep, What you have is a Horny boy! All my Males do that to a certain extent.
I have one large Male that sometimes moves in jerks....Especially on my arm which I don't like.
 
One of my male snakes has started doing that when I touch him - I wasn't sure if it was fighting behavior or mating behavior. Pretty funny!
 
My boy does that when he's not being Mr. Lazy-Snakey. He'll rub around himself, and even does that occasionally when he's on me. Just the season for some lovin', even if it's loving themselves!
