Terrarium Moss?

Gary Colemans lover

Seriously though.
Ok....Is Terrarium moss a good substrate for corns? >_> I want to re-decorate "Hector"'s cage....Because I just have newspaper there. He loves the newspaper, but I want it to look nice...and I want him to be happy.
:crazy02:
Any other suggestions for a substrate??

Ist off....please....make that font BIGGER hehe...

Terrarium moss would work...i think it would be harder to spot clean poop/urates from it, and it would be a good medium to foster the growth of mold, bacteria, etc...

Corns love to hide...In a deep, "dig-able" substrate like aspen shavings, cypress or coco husk, they will almost always be tunnelling thru it...substrates such as these also hold humidity well and are easy to spot clean...

Where can you buy terrarium moss? How costly is it? Is it easy to maintain with the right humidity of course? What herps would anyone suggest to put in a terrarium with moss? Thanks and sorry to burge in on your thread here.

I am using aspen this time, but last time I used compressed, recycled paper bedding and it worked great.

I use Eco Earth as the main substrate, but use terrarium moss scattered around in some areas for looks. My snake seems to like crawling under the little patches of it I put in, and if some gets soiled, you can just throw out that little bit and put in a bit more. One package that says will do one 15-20gallon tank is lasting me a long time.
