What happens when you bred an ultramel anery to an ultramel het anery.. Confusion.. I suspect my really dark kids from this clutch are the ultras...

The iris is certainly as deep red.. Out of the ultramel clutches I have done in the past, there are certainly some very dark coloured kids here...
 
Very nice! I'm definitely a proponent of separating out the Ultra gene from the Ultramels. Don't get me wrong, I dig Ultramels. I just feel that the Ultra gene by itself is highly underutilized.
 
I personally like the ultra gene... Whether its an ultra or an ultramel.. They certainly are cool!
 
The medium reds surely look like my ultramels, so I bet the dark ones are ultra's indeed! Lovely clutch!
