Veterans ...

Thank you, you're welcome. I served at Fort Hood in 1985-1987. My thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this recent tragedy.

I've got family who served in WWII, the Korean War, Vietnam, Grenada, Iraq, Afghanistan. They deserve my thanks. BUT, those who don't know me... who have no ties to me at all... I OWE my thanks and much more.

I, too, thank all the US servicemen & women, past & present. My best wishes go out to those impacted by the tragedy at Fort Hood, and everyone else in the US military & veteran community.

~All gave some. Some gave all.~

Side note- I just looked at my Reserve ID (I'm in the IRR) and discovered it expired on the 24th last month! You know what that means, lol..

My brother was also at Fort Hood during that time. My thoughts are with all the families involved and also with all the vets who are and who have served to allow us americans the freedoms most of us take for granted.
