Weirdest thing ever

So my snake shed yesterday but it was the weirdest thing ever, i didn't even know he was shedding so two days ago I fed him not knowing that he was in his shed cycle. He took the food anyways. Then the next day he shed? Has this happen to any of you?

never had the quick shed thing but my normal sasha often will feed in blue not the last time though , i just don't know till I try.

You fed the snake when he was in the clear phase, right after blue, before the shed. Just happened to me tonight!

It happens sometimes. I've done it a couple times. Generally not a problem, but it can cause a regurge if they're eating prey a bit on the large size for them.

Yea but I didn't know he was just about the shed. Then i seen the shed the next morning and was so surprise that he even ate

Sometimes if you have a light colored snake and are new to snakes you won't notice them in shed. As long as the shed was fine all is good :)

Happened to me with a foster snow corn just this week, and a hypo bloodred who hides a lot a couple of months ago. I try not to feed when they're about to shed, just to be on the safe side, but it's never been a problem so far when I've missed a blue phase by mistake. (This is especially easy to do with snows, since you can only catch it if you see their eyes when they're opaque.)
