When are corns ready to breed?

Generally recommended age is 2+ years.

Generally recommended size is 300+ grams and 36+ inches.

thanks a lot amanda... anybody have different opinions? id like to get a few if they differ at all

Just out of curosity, when you say two plus years does that mean you breed your females in there third year rather than ther second year ? the reason i ask is i always have left mine till there third year , but i have a few 14 month old females at the 280 gram mark (there not fat in the slightest - i have pictures !) and i am in two minds as to breed them or not because they will only be about 20 months old when they were to first breed. What do you guys reckon ?

i was wondering the same thing..correct me if im wrong, but i think lots of snakes are born around the june-july mark??? so they're either just under 2 years when you breed them, or just under 3 years if you wait the extra breeding season...

I would say in this case, go by the size and weight quoted, not the age, as some snakes grow quicker than others.
