Morph help? dream clutch.. I KICKED murphys butt HARD

OK, so heres the short story.
In 2007, i imported twice from vinman from the US over to the UK..
male was the bloodred het hypo, lavender, stripe and amel.
He has been a MASSIVE factor in this years breeding plans, been a very busy boy.
The mother, was an amber from the mystery clutch. She WAS possible het charcoal, amel, lavender and bloodred.. WELL, shes now only possible het charcoal.
The 1st two hatchlings were a blood, so thats number one, next one in the egg I could see a white snake.. so that knocks out amel and lavender.
BUT the big questions will be, what the hell have i got?
I'll go thru what i think they are as I list them, there are 5 out so far with loads of nice coloured heads there.

so we start.. with this white guy.. i'm presuming hes an opal bloodred, you'll see as we go along he has a totally clear belly, and killer diffusion too.
He could of course be a hypo version, this would make him hypo opal bloodred het caramel poss het stripe.

I think I have mentioned the sexes wrong there, the 'opal bloodred' is female the other 3 are male.
I reckon the opal could be hypo?.
in theory, half the clutch will be hypo, half blood, so should be expecting LOT of hypo blood mix combos in there. i really wanted a hypo plasma, but i reckon i have gone better

Congrats Nige! What a superb clutch!
I'll be hoping to test my Vimman blood multihet boy next year, and if you hadn't helped I'd never have got him.

cheers J, and remember, if you ever need any of those quality bloods, you know where to come. I have pretty much every now that will test prove these out lol.. I have produced some amazing corns this year from vinnys blood, what a bargain he turned out to be, and hes only 4 years old, maybe 5?

The "opal bloodred" could just as easily be a hypo lavender bloodred... I don't know much what an opal looks like, though, so I could be wrong.

The last one--the opal male?--looks like he might be homo caramel. Maybe butter?

I don't know. I'm not very good at morph ID, but that's my two cents. =)

Congrats on kicking Murphy's butt! Those are some beautiful babies!!

actually i did have a thought on being a hypo plasma.. i would be just as happy as thats what i really wanted, even tho i could be dropping a morph.
the other 'opal; yes i can see why you would make the butter comment.
I'll have to get onto vinny to see if he knows if thats likely, in the flesh it doesnt look so buttery, but i can see how the picture shows it.
I realy could do without caramel being there visually too lol.. guess i will find out tho, should be a load more out tonight, so be sure to come back and see.

I'd love to see that last male after he sheds, looks like caramel influence to me too. Are you due your special pippy soon? (And have you been booked in for a snip yet?) x J

just under 10 weeks, and NO i havent yet lol.
i know what you mean, i think if you saw it in the flesh tho you probably wouldnt think so.
just my great picture taking skills lol

10 weeks! I bet the girls are getting excited! I'll have to come and visit the new arrival when I visit Pete (If you don't mind me inviting myself!) I promise not to steal any baby snakes

you're welcome round, its been a long time.
the girls cant wait, and non of us know what we are having yet.
and on subject, its getting better as the girls are starting to get interested in the snakes now, they really like them, so maybe soon i'll get some help cleaning them lol

I don't know much about lavender morphs, but I always imagined opals to be whiter, which is why I'm hesitant to think "opal bloodred" (that and the odds).

As for the "opal/butter"... Maybe it's just the caramel het showing through, then? I somehow got it into my head that the sire was het caramel by the time I got to the end of the pictures.. Lol. In which case, I haven't a clue! =3

I can't wait for post-shed pics and some other opinions. =)

i've just done some searches, she could well be a hypo plasma.
dad was blood het hypo lav amel and stripe, so hopefully if anything its just the caramel coming thru from the caramel mother.

Shouldn't hypo plasma have at least a little bit darker red / ruby eyes? Those eyes look amel pink to me. So I'd bet Opal Blood or even anery to be thrown in the hets and she'd be Snopal Blood or "plain ol" Avalanche.

But the last one IS a mystery of all times... It sure does look something with a caramel trait. Homo or very strong het.

Very interesting clutch! Congrats!!! :)

there is no known anery in either snake, i have sent vinny a pm asking if there is possibly any info on caramel in the blood.
what i would say is, there is amel, blood and lavender in the snake, whether there is also hypo aswell is another factor.
i guess maybe when someone like rich gets the time to have an input we may have a better answer

Woah! I didn't even notice the eyes... I guess I need to be a bit more observant.. Lol. In which case, Opal Bloodred makes sense--I guess I was very wrong about how an opal should look... Congrats on beating the odds!

Nige take a pic of the father, I want to ID it I know the male you are talking about had no caramel gene in him. I doo see a butter in the clutch. You might have mixed up males. I al;so sent you a amber male from the mystery project. Is there any chance you might have put him in with the female or one of the other males I sent you just for a short while. The big breeder male I sent you was 100 % not het for caramel . It was a HLB X a stripe het snow blood. the mother stripe is my stock the father is the first HLB I ever produced Whem I crossed the HLB to my amber thats where the breeder mystery animals come from No ambers in that clutch, just hypos and normals

Janie The male I sent you is a pure Okeetee X Pure old school blood. It is a father daughter cross possibile het for blood . the blood female I sent you is if I remember right is a het hypo, PH for Anery, stripe, amel, lav,
