I have a female that is on day 7 of her pre-egg laying shed and I have to go away on Friday morning and be away until Sunday evening. I'm using sphagnum moss I'm wondering if I turn off the heat pad if the eggs will be ok for the weekend?
Any help would be great,
Trevor
Not a drop of pure Miami corn in her but she looks like enough like a Miami that I'm trying to find a Miami male for her.
She was actually produced by a Lavender het anery X Anery het hypo paring.
Thanks for looking,
Trevor
I'm wondering what I should breed my Ghost with. Here are some possibilities.
1. Snow het for hypo.
2. Hypo Motley.
3. Normal het for hypo, motley, lavender.
4. Lavender het for anery.
I'm thinking Hypo motley so that the F2 will give me Ghost motley.
What do you guys think?
Cheers,
Trevor
This is the incubator I've but together for this year. I use a thermostat out of a hovabator and an exo-terra heat pad. The red light indicates when the heat pad is on or off.
So far it works great but I think I'm going to go with a larger pad.
Thanks for looking,
Trevor
I'm changing incubators this year and if I go with this box I can get four in one incubator.
Dose it look big enough?
The dimensions are 13Lx7.5Wx4.5H.
Thanks,
Trevor
Your looking at the first ghost corn to be produced in the whole province of New Brunswick. What do you expect with only 750,000 people and only roughly 30 seriouse herpers. The best part was I did it by accident. The father was a pet shop snow so I had no way of knowing his genotype and the...
Has anyone produced one yet?
I have a pair of corns that are het for motley, hypo and lavender so I'm hoping the odds are in my favour. This year I'm also going to produce a pair of hypos that will be het for motley and anery. From that pair I'm hoping for motley ghost and motley anery.
What...
I did and he hasn't taken anything since:angry01: I had a small litter of rabbit pinkies three weeks ago that were all still born. I decided since they were F/K I would see how many different snakes would take one. Well I had a Hog Island Boa, Rainbow Boa, Ball Python and a Corn each take...
I bred a my male snow with my female anery. Neither of which were nowing to be het for anything. In the cltuch I got 5 anerys, 5 that look normal but have very deep red. Their red is much deeper then anything I've seen on a hatchling so far. The most confusing this yet is there are I think...
I'm just curiouse what would be best. Shoudl I offer my new hatchlings live for their first meal to try and increase my chances of sucess and then swicth them by about their 3rd, or try f/t right away?
Thanks,
Trevor
This morning before I left for work at 6:20am I saw that my corn had her pre-egg laying shed. When I got home this after noon(2:30pm) I found that she had passed two eggs one good one bad in the hide box on the cool side. She was in the hide box on the hot side with fresh wast but no more...
