Hi,I just bought a timer for my light, how many hours of daylight do corn snakes need .
im using a 60 watt bulb/hood with a homemade dimmer for the day and i have a heating pad for the night (just incase you where wondering).
Hi i just moved to SF bay area im rebuilding my collection after i had no where i could house my snakes =( but now i have the time and room and so in my room i have a heater thats built in to nearly the floor can i use this like you guys talk about heating the room ,will the heater be efficient...
im actually thinking of buying something else besides a corn and ball not sure what to get i want ill probably get another ball lol they are awesome
if any one has any suggestions of other types of snakes ?

hi i was just wondering ...i have my under the tank heat pad ..but the sticky side has dirt on it or it just dosnt stick any more ..i was wondering if it is safe to put something under it to keep it in position because right now it just sits under there not stuck to the glass ..it just falls...
ok i have an okeetee nearly a month and a half old when i wanna take him out for a feeding he rattles his tail and hisses should i pick him up n e way or use like a hanger because i dont want him to strike so i will freak out and accidentaly hurt him hehe what i do?
my tank gets from about 71 to 88 in the morning and at night but in the mid day when im in the same room using comp and tv it gets really hot in there and the cooler end gets to about 80 for quite a few hours is this a problem ?
im paranoid hes gonna escape i have a snap on but its pretty tightdunno if he could ever slip through it and get out cuz then i would have to get rid of it if ma parents found him in the house....i thought he was gone til i opened it and he fell off the edge =\ im not gonna bother him anymore...
if any of you use terra cotta pots how do you cut out the holes smooth holes cuz i dont have power tools hehe any ideas or methods without breaking the pot?
