Yeah, my 1st 08's are on the way!!! I really didn't think I was gonna have any this year b/c this was the male's 1st time and he seemed really confused for awhile...hahahaha.
Only have one so far. Yesterday when I saw 3 heads poking out, I said "ugh more ghost:-(" But the 1st one has me...
I've been out of things since I moved a year and half ago due to dial up only at my new place..ugh. Got fast now so I've been looking up snake stuff. A while back I sold off some of my proven breeders. I had no what to ask for them since I couldn't search anything. I talked with a few local...
This is one of my late 07' keepers. He stood out from the other pastel motleys from day one. I'm not sure what to call him but I like him alot. He also escaped and I found him under my house today...I'm shock I found him! Since 00' he's the 1st to escaped.
He's is motley and has the white belly...
I told myself I wasn't gonna to it this year but did anyway....there's just something about baby snakes. I never have any luck selling them and end up with more but it still excites me when I see those heads poking out!!
I bred my big ghost girl to my butter motley. The guy I got him from swore...
I had posted awhile back about my dumb mistake of not seperating my 05's after we moved, broke some tanks and they ended up breeding. I was worried b/c the female was way under weight but all has turned out great. Thankfully she didn't double clutch on me:-)
She's great and eating like a pig...
Our garage is snake central!! That same male as before with the missing tail and scars was back a few days ago. I've also found 3 more big male adults that I moved to the corn field. Today, hubby came in and showed me what he found. I thought maybe it was an '07 b/c I found 16 fresh skins a few...
Ok, so now I'm picture happy and took outside the ones that weren't blue and here they are....
Casper(M) and #2(F) are my late '05 babies. Frenchy(F) is an '05 also. I was bad and had the 05's in a tank together since I moved in Dec b/c several of my tanks got broke:-( I just got around to...
Hadn't been here in awhile but had to post what the hubby found in the garage today. This guy was all laid out across my breeder mice tanks and quite calm to be wild. Pretty sure it's a male. The hubby pulled a mouse out and feed him. He wants to keep him. He has some scars and the end on his...
It was nice outside the other day so I thought I'd her outside. She's not as bright b/c she's getting close to shedding but I just love her!! I think she's beautiful!!
I finally got some scales to weigh my tortoises and parrot(disinfected really well) and thought hey, why not weigh the snakes too.
Glacier was the only one to chill on the scales and it took forever to get him to fit...haha. Well, here he is...all 1266 grams of him.
Hi,
I've never hibernated my corns and they have always bred except for this year. My big snow male wasn't interested. I'm thinking about doing it this year. Plus, it'd save money on feeding until I get my breeder mice or rats going. Can someone give me some info about how to do it or point me...
I snapped some pics yesterday and couldn't believe the size of Glacier my 00' male snow. There was a discussion about him being mixed with some other kind of snake....I think someone said bull or gopher..can't remember. Anyway, he produced some very nice babies 2 yrs ago that I saw a few days...
This is one of my babies that hatched on august 1st. I'm definately keeping him!! With every shed, he changes and looks nothing like my other ghost babies. He's much lighter and in person has a purplish, pink hue. The mom is a ghost and daddy is a pastel motley.
