I'm not new but I have been missing for a loooong time. Getting back into corns so I figured I'd come back to my old stomping grounds. Shortly after my last appearance here I rehomed my corns (due to life screwing me over) but now I'm steady and looking to get one or two from an upcoming...
An Opal motely and an Amel. Both very young and tiny ((as they tend to be)) Unknown Genders (atm) I do NOT co-hab! Just FYI >< They put them in the same tub D: but I kept a careful eye on them on the way home.
Benji! Getting SOOO big D: He's a little under a year and is at the moment 2'5"...
Legend- 6 years old - Amel?
Someone commented that he was a R.O. but I really don't think the white borders are large enough and he's the right color. He was adopted from someone who just wanted him gone.
Fenric - hatchling - Amber
Well here's the story:
I walked into this local petshop, and the Amber motely I have been looking at for 2 months was still there. I asked to hold it. The woman hands me the Hypo Mot. and I say "Not that one ma'am the yellow one" and she goes "OH this one is the Hypo not the Amber" and hands me...
I'm offically a member of the bite club now >< And guess who gave it to me.....
THIS VICIOUS CRITTER!! D: So no...there was no blood ><
And she a MONSTER eater^^^^^ Packs 'em down every feeding no problem!
well I found out that I NEED to keep clips in Ares' tank! D: I was going through laundry and picked up my 50s'-ish polka dot dress and tossed to the floor ((A 3 foot drop MAX)) ignoring the extra weight in it until I see a red "rope" slither back under it....ARES! I pick up the folds of the...
I have a yearling Male Amel corn snake, there is nothing wrong with him. He perfectly happy being handled by me...and ME alone. When ever anyone else picks him up and handles him...he FREAKS. As soon as I take him from them he calms down instantly. Can he really tell the difference between me...
I am taking this from:Southtexasreptiles.com because it never hurts to get the word out a little more. You never know how far this animal could get for the right price. And to remind everyone to watch their reptiles closely if you sell at shows, bad people are everywhere.
Dangerous Animal...
This is a rat snake ((At least I'm pretty sure it is)) I went to a local pet shop and somebody had caught it and brought it in. I offered to release it behind my house where the green belt runs away from traffic and construction. Set him go this afternoon when it was nice and warm in a place...
Well I got this girl from a place I THOUGHT was reliable...but now I'm having doubts on her coloring after uncovering some of the lies they've told me. I'm also having doubts on if she is ACTUALLY almost a year old...I have a 6 month old that is BARELY smaller then her...and a yearling that is...
Last night I went to Petsmart to pic up some snakey things. I stopped over at the reptiles and took a look but there wasn't really anything amazing. ANYWAY, I headed over to the counter and noticed a kritter keeper with a corn snake in it and that's it,a corn and dirt...I over heard the woman...
How can you tell when a corn snake is over weight? Benji is about 21-22 inches and 38 grams...is he fat? His stomach is kinda "squishy"... if so....how can I fix this? Should I start feeding him every other week?
I feel like such a noob ><
Btw: he's eating 9-10 grams fuzzies
I was uploading these pics and realized what was on the computer! :3 Gotta love Cornsnakes.com right?!? So I decided to share these and a couple more.
