    Ok i know corn snakes eat mice and rats. I heard they eat small lizards as babies. My questions are what about the old tale about snakes drinking milk ( this sounds wrong to me) and can they eat any other raw meat or only rodent?

    I just cleaned the mouse cage and the oldest female is sitting in the corner making noise that kind of sounds like high pitched barking. Is that normal? Is she hurt?     chocolate hording

    does anyone else have female mice that hord chocolate(as in cookie pieces, brownie bits ect) when i drop anything chocolate in the food dish she grabs it and runs off to hide it so the 2 other mice can't get it. is that normal?

    time to size up?

    hi, my corn snake , Norc , has shed 3 times since i got her . She has just eaten 3 pinkies after her last shed. my question is how do i know when to go up in mouse size?and what size is next?

    ok i've had my snake for 2 sheddings (a couple of months) She shed a few weeks ago so i know that isn't it. i just went up a mouse size how do i tell if she's not hungry or the mouse is to big?

    tank bottoms

    right now I'm using newspaper on the bottom of the tank i feed Norc(my corn snake) in a separate cage. is it OK to put potting soil in the bottom of the tank and plant things for her?
