    New from Cali

Hey guys. First time posting but I’ve been a lurker for years lol. I’ve had corn snakes before but it’s been about 10 years without any. My 6 year old daughter has been begging for a corn snake for awhile now and we finally picked up a little cutie from a local breeder today. She’s a normal or...

    Stripes on underside of tail

My male anery has a regular checkered belly except for the last two inches. The last two inches has a stripe on each side. Does that mean anything or is that totally normal?

I work at a pet store and we have three hatchlings for sale. One is a normal, one a hypo, and the last an amel stripe. I am really interested in both the hypo and the amel stripe, but I want another male for now. Is it really hard to pop them to sex the hatchlings? Can i seriously hurt them...

    Problem with new snake

I just got Mars last week at the Sacramento Reptile convention. He is in a plastic hatchling tub(the shoebox kind) with paper towels as substrate. The temps are 85 degrees on the warm side and 78 on the cool. Today I was doing my daily check on my snakes and I noticed that Mars has a kinds...

    I think I've been a little spoiled......

I read all of the posts with people and their feeding problems. But when I got Kiki and Bruno, they ate as soon as I put them in their feeding tubs. Well, these new snakes we got have been a bit more difficult. They completely ignore the pinkeys. Washed, brained, cut open, rubbed with scent...

    Just wanted to share

My local petstore only has one size of pinkie, small. Since both Kiki and Bruno eat right off the bat with barely any visable bulge, I decided to try and give them both a small fuzzy each. 10 minutes later I check up on them and sure enough, they've both eaten them. Yay!

    Soon to shed!

I think that my new amel, Kiki, is going to shed soon. At first I started to notice ALOT of purple undertones along her sides and on her head, and then her eyes are slightly purple as well. She is now very dull, and hiding all the time. I'm so excited! Hopefully Bruno starts shedding soon!

Ok, I have two hatchlings. The female is a amel. Her parents are an amel het anery and a bloodred. The male is a anery. His parents are an anery het amel and a snow. When I breed them, will I get just snows? Or will I get snows, anerys and amels?

    got my new corns yesterday

I went and picked up my new corns yesterday. I picked up a female amel, her mother is a amel and her father is a bloodred. She was very sweet and calm when we got her but she is going to need a few days to adjust because when I opened her lid to check on temps, she started rattling her tail...
