My colony of mice 1:4 has babies of hopperish size. When is it safe to put the babies in thier own cage? They started drinking out of the water bottle yesterday, am I safe to assume that they can eat block food now and not need mom? Also my colony seems to be waiting for these babies to grow...

last summer i took pictures at the pond near my apt. At that time i also took photos of some wierd holes in the ground, wondering who they belonged to. Well now its spring and the salamander threads on here inspired me to go looking for some myself. I found 3 rolly bugs, 2 worms, and 1 slug...
