I am having a tough time figuring out which is Ultra and which is Ultramel. The parents were Ultramel het Lav x Same. This is 3 out of 8 and they all kind of look the same. I'm leaning towards 1 and 2 being Ultramel and 3 being Ultra. Being Lavenders they all have ruby eyes so this one is going...
I thought I would have produced some last year but Murphy wasn't very kind. This year he was much better to me and granted me 4. All of which ate for me today!
The only known genetics prior to breeding these adults were lavender and blood. Now I know they are also het amel and anery, but is hypo in here too? There are two interesting looking bloods in the clutch; what the heck are they? Lav Blood, hypo Blood? I am not sure what I am looking at so input...
There are a few in the clutch that are different from the others. I can't really make out what they are right now. Perhaps just a little variation in the color but we will have to see after they shed. You may or may not be able to pick them out from the pics. Enjoy!
I figured it was just a coincidence that not 1, but 4 breeder females reabsorbed their eggs this year until I contacted a few other breeders who had similar results. The breeders I spoke with said they knew of other breeders who are having similar results as well. I have 2 females at around 60...
It is this guy's first season of breeding and his hemipenis came out immediately when he was put with a female. They never got to breed before I pulled him from the female. He has not retracted it in 2 days. Has anyone seen this before.
