  • I live in California. I'm new to this forum, but not to corn snakes. I would appreciate any suggestions regarding this feeding issue I'm experiencing with my snake.

I have had my female albino corn snake for about 13 years. The only health issue she has ever had was a couple years ago. She suddenly tried laying a bunch of oversized misshapen eggs. She needed help in laying them and I took her to a vet. That is the only time she has ever not been interested in eating.

Suddenly she won't eat. It's been 20 days since she has (not a huge amount of time, but a concern if she continues). I feed her every 10-12 days. She last showed interest 5/14, then had two feedings that she took but really wasn't interested in. She last ate 6/5. She's in a 30 gal tank with a heater underneath. She has hidey places and a large water bowl. I dangle the mouse into her tank; she comes up grabs it, constricts it and that's pretty much it.

I would appreciate any ideas ...
