Hi I hope you dont mind me asking. I have ne corn, got it last week. I know its an amel but it looks slightly different to the amels I have seen. Is it just an amel or is it a morph? Sorry for the blurry picture, I had to use my phone and the snake was a bit fast. jakewc2

    Corn Snakes in California

Hi I wonder if somebody can help me. I'm trying to find out about getting a corn snake, for somebody who's living in California. Are there any state laws that govern keeping of snakes in the city? Are there any breeders in that state, if so where. What about places to get equipment? Or online...

    Regurge or not?

I have this normal corn, that is about 14 months old. I got him from a shop. When I got him, he had been only fed on one pinky every week, and because of that is a really small snake for his age. Since I got him, I have now managed to get him to take a fuzzy. The problem is, the first time he...

Some nice head shots of my corn

My corn just shed yesterday, and has turned an amazing colour orange. He was mostly red and white before with a small amount of orange on him. I managed to get a couple of good head shots and thought I would show him off. Sorry about the hairy arms though :(

    Lump on Snow corn

I wonder if somebody might have an idea what this might be. Its appeared quite suddenly on the back of the corn. Its seems to be on its spine. Its only a yearling, but its a big snake for a yearling. Has anybody seen this before, and if so, is there anything that can be done for the snake...

    Pictures of my snow corn

I posted about my snow corn striking out when I first got him, but he's now settled down a lot. What I've been amazed about with this little guy is that you can see his insides, he's almost transparent.

    Help.....Really bad shed

I posted a couple of days ago that I thought my snake had shed. I was wrong. I have gone in this morning to find that he's attempted to shed, but its come of in bits, and has only had a partial shed. I put him in a small container with damp kitchen role in it and put the container on the heated...

    Shedding

I am sure my corn has shed again, his colouring seems to be a lot brighter, and his skin feels really soft and almost oily, sort of, from being really dull yesterday. I've gone to check the viv to see if I can find it, and its not there. Nowhere to be found. Do snakes eat their skins, and if so...

    Snow corn good eater

Hi, well, I've fed my new snow corn twice now, and both times he's taken the pinky really easilly. I'm thinkong that he actually might be hungry and just one pinky is not enough. I'm am going to try him on two the next time I feed him, and see how he gets on.

    My New Corn is striking

Well, I thought it might be too good to be true. This morning I went in to check on my new snow corn, and went to pick him up, and he struck out at me, not once but each time I went near him. He only stopped when I picked him up. :( Is there anything I can do to stop this. I know that stress...

    Some good news

My little corn snake Eric, is coming on really well. He's now ready to go on to fuzzies, after having 3 pinkies for the past three feeds. This morning he had his first shed, and it went perfectly. The whole skin shed in one piece, right down to the tip of the tail. I was so pleased. His skin...

What does loose stools look like from corn's

I don't know if this is true or not, but I heard that corns can develop diarrhoea. If so, what does it look like, and can somebody tell me what normal poop looks like? I have managed to work out now when he is about to poop, just just stops moving, and his tail sticks out funny. I have...

    Feeding Question?

I'm so sorry to ask this, and if its something that has been asked many times before, please forgive me. I did try a search, but couldn't find an answer. How do you know if you are overfeeding it? I read somewhere that cornsnakes will eat whatever is put in front of them, and they could get...
