Does anyone have any experience using a peel and stick uth on 3/8" thick glass? Most consumer vivs or aquariums are only 1/4" thick.
Also, those of you who use the heater in the tank with a ceramic tile, do you peel and stick it to the bottom of the tile or just lay the tile over top of it...

I'm using a UTH mounted to the bottom of my enclosure run through a thermostat controller. My question is where should the probe go. I use aspen bedding (about and 1 1/2" or so). I understand that the warm side should run about 85 degrees. If my probe sits on top of the bedding to maintain 85...
