i was feeding him and he bit the mouse but had wraped around my finger thinking he had the mouse so i waited till he let go and he search his tank for hours looking for the other mouse (finger)

mouse died and he is fine

i found a site saying pine shavings are bad for the snake
while i hear the store say the pine is ok
if i used it what would the sid effects be ?
