    Pewter with belly checks?

Is it possible for a pewter to have black/grey belly checks? I was under the impression that a pewter, since it is a bloodred should have a clear belly or at most the red checks sometimes seen on a bloodred.

    Question about assisted feeding

I have a few non-feeding hatchlings. I have tried some of the ususal tricks, and will try a few more before considering force feeding. It has only been 2-3 weeks and I will wait as long as I can however I do have a couple that are looking pretty feeble. My question is about what to force feed...

How/Where do you feed your hatchlings?

I have a very limited number of hatchlings that I keep in individual deli cups, using this method they are very easy to feed. I have seen that some breeders will keep several hatchlings ( a whole clutch) together in shoe boxes in a rack. My question is if you keep them together how do you feed?

    % of succesful breeders

I would like to ask anyone who has bred a significant number of cornsnakes (>10), out of all of the male and female hatchlings you have aquired, how many of them turned out to be succesful breeders. ie. females that had 3+ good clutches, or males that sired 3+ good clutches.

    Escapee caught

About 3 weeks ago my hatchling bloodred male escaped through a small crack in my newly built snake rack. After searching for about 3 hours we gave up and thought he had gotten out of the house. A couple of days ago we found a fresh shed in my bedroom, about 20 feet away from the rack. I looked...

    Bed-O-Kob

Has anyone tried Bed-O-Kob as a cage substrate? I have heard that it is easy and cost effective to use, however I have also heard negative things about it. Does anyone have any experience using it?

    Using Flexwatt

The rack systems pictured in the rack thread looked very good, my question is about how to install the flexwatt. Does it attach to the back of the rack or the shelves? Do the plastic containers sit on top of it or get radiant heat from it being attached to the back? Is there an adhesive or does...
