  • thank you so much. I think its pretty cool, you can watch your baby grow up in pictures. I took some tonight with my digital camera. I had her on a white paper with a spot light on her and the pics turned out really bad. So I guess i need to make some adjustments. I will definately make some really nice pics soon.
Based on your pics I can identify her as one of our Amelanistic's babies (the father was Normal). The baby is a Normal Okeetee morph (Okeetee - because of the thick black lines, normal because it has red and black colors) heterozygous for Amelanistic. We're thinking the Okeetee must come from the Father because both batches of babies are okeetees (the amel babies are then Reverse Okeetees). I'd need clearer pictures to identify which baby it was exactly (I've narrowed it down to 4 but because they all have very even patterns its hard to tell them apart). Let me know when you post better ones!
BtW she shed and again it was a perfect beautiful shed. I thought she was okeetee. would you call it aa amel or anery? I guess i dont really understand the difference. Tonight I am going to put her on a white towel under a light and get another good pic or two.
I just put up 2 more pics. I hope they help. you can easily view all my pics on my profile in the album. thanks
Let me know when you get some pics out, then I can tell you which female she is from. She is definately het Amel and possibly het anery (depending on the mom... one was an amel, the other was a snow, the father was a normal het amel). Hopefully she's doing good. The snakes started hatching the beginning of July but I'd be able to give you an exact date if I know which baby is which. I kept the hatch date of each individual snake cuz I'm a dork! :D Glad she's doing well!
hi. I just read your comment on my pics.
That would be awesome if you are my snakes breeder. Chances are you are I suppose. I bought her at Pet Expo on Oct. 2nd. The guy said she was about 4 mo. old. I dont know if he knew a whole lot about snakes though. Any way this snake is very docile. Quite shy but I expect that. She is becoming less shy. She refuses to come out of the viv onto my hand but when I get her she calms down relatively quick. She has been in a humidor for almost a week now. Her eyes were a nasty cloudy blue the last 2 nights and tonight I brought her out and let her hang out in the sleeve of my robe for a bit. Her eyes look normal but her skin is very blah. So hopefully she will shed soon. Anyway I am getting a nice camera soon and will take some great pics for you. Obviously I need to wait till she is done shedding.
