Pewter, Charcoal, and Anery Sibs- for Nate (FyreFocks)

Nate has been on my case for some updated pics on some of my hatchlings- since they are sibs to a Granite and Charcoal he owns. His persistence has paid off and I snapped off a few shots yesterday evening. :) The only sib missing is a bloodred that is in blue.

    Pick Ups- Wasatch Reptile Expo

Unfortunately, the one reptile expo in Utah we have each year has come and gone. I get so excited for our expo- much like a child anticipating a trip to Disneyland. Shortly after getting there, I bought my first invert. A G. Rosea- I don't want anything aggressive and this fit the bill. I...

Off Reptile Restrictions and New Birthday Additions

I am off reptile restriction. It's a long story... but, I was put on reptile purchase restriction by my ex until she got a dog. Well, last month I was finally able to get the landlord to approve a small dog. After a few weeks of looking, we find a schnoodle that will fit in well with the...

Cohabbing a Corn and a BP

I ran across this ad today on a website similar to CL. It saddens me to see a owner cohabbing their animals, let alone a corn and a BP together. But then the uneducated owner posts an ad selling- including pictures of the two snakes together. :eek1: Uneducated owner could sell to an...

    Anery Charcoal

So when I used corncalc.com to get an idea of what the probabilities of my clutch might be, one of the morphs listed was Anery Charcoal. I have looked for pics, but no luck. Ian's vivarium is a great resource, but nothing there. Does anyone have hatchling and adult pics of this morph combo...

    New Hatchlings

These aren't the greatest pictures... and then the camera battery died. These are from my 2nd clutch. They are pretty interesting to me- and I am trying to figure out the morphs. They were hatched on 6/17 and are nearing their 1st shed- so, I will have to post more after their shed. I have a...

Clutch Numbero Dos- Anery het Charcoal/Diffused x Normal het Anery/Diffused

My second clutch has started to pip! YAAAAY! This was to test out whether or not my Normal was het for Charcoal (as her previous owner said that was a possibility). Yesterday afternoon, I came home to 4 pips... later there was 5... this morning 8 (and 1 out). I am thrilled with the little...

Here are a few pics of two of my hatchlings. Pipped on 5/23/10- post shed on 6/1/10. They are both Amel Motleys. Thanks for looking. I hope to get some pics of the others over the next few days after sheds and feeding. Hatchling #1

Normal- Het Sunkissed Bloodred 09 Female from Mohr Snakes

We had some good weather a few days ago and I took some of my corns out for a photo shoot. I was a bit nervous taking them out and putting them on the lawn, but I think they were more nervous feeling the grass against their bellies for the first time. These are pics of my Normal- Het Sunkissed...

How do you determine which hatchlings are your holdbacks?

Just curious. This is my first clutch of corn snakes. 12 eggs, 9 have hatched, 2 pipped and 1 is questionable (not looking good). Of the 9 that are out I have 2 normals, 2 normal mots, and 4 amel mots. At least, that is what I am thinking that they are... the mots I am SURE of. I...

    Pippies!

I have been anxiously awaiting my first pips. We went to Wendover, NV to flirt with Lady Luck. I had no such luck, however, I checked on my clutch and found 2 of the 12 have pipped. 68 days.... I am a very proud and happy snake mommy!
