im planing on buying a hatchling soon and im planning on housing it in a 10 galllon tank. after it gets too big for it i would want to move it into a 55 gallon (4' x1'). would this be okay? i just want to make use of my empty 55
can corn snakes swim? cuz i heard somewhere that someone lets his snake(not sure what kind) occasionally swim in a large container filled with water. i also heard that snakes like swimming. is this true?? does any body let their corn swim?
does a cornsnake absolutely positively require a temperature gradient?? or will it do fine without one?? Does anyone keep their snakes like that, with one constant temperature??? because its really hot where i live and the temp inside the tank (without any heating) is usually around 85...
Im gettin a 30 gallon tank and a Zoomed UTH (10-20 gal sized) with a zoomed rheostat. I live in the valley and the temps are pretty high so im only planning to turn on the UTH only during the winter. But during the summer i might turn it on slightly (using the rheostat) to ceate a temperature...
