    Super Dark Ultra Anery

These lovely dark ultra anerys actually hatched from one of my Ultramel Okeetee clutches.

Vanishing Stripe (from Striped Kisatchie project)

Another clutch from my striped Kisatchie project started hatching last night, and the first one out is almost patternless. I'm not quite sure what I expected the offspring to look like from this hybrid mix, but I thought perhaps the stripes would be a lot darker. Either way, I think they're...

    Dark Ultramel Okeetee

If I didn't know better, I'd have said this is an Ultra Okeetee. But his dad is an ultramel okeetee and his mom a Reverse Okeetee so I know for sure he's Ultramel. I love the dark colouring though.

Gorgeous Wide Pin Stripe Caramel Motley

I love the wide striped motley pattern on this little guy. He doesn't have a faulty eye - that's a piece of vermiculite stuck on his eye. :)

    Tangerines (Amel Javas)

I'm reluctant to post this thread, as I'm still not 100% certain what these actually are. Don from SMR has bred them to Kastanies, and so far it appears that the Javas are in fact Kastanies. Which I guess would in fact make these Mandarins? Either way, I thought I'd post some pics as the...

"Striped Kisatchie" Project - Pleasant Surprise!

A couple of years ago we imported some Kisatchies from SMR, and 3 years ago I decided to experiment a bit with them. I really liked the idea of getting out some striped kisatchie :bird: So here are F2 breeding results (so far): Not sure exactly what to call them though?? :uhoh:

    Lovely Little Lavender Bloodred

This cute little diffused lavender hatched last week.

    2015 Ultramel Okeetees

Hi Everyone Well, it's hatching season here in sunny South Africa, and I thought I'd post some pics of some of the lovely ultramel okeetees that just hatched. The Reverse Okeetees from this clutch are also very nice, in my opinion :) Best regards, Chantel (South Africa)

    Ultramel Candy Cane

I'm over the moon with this little one! It's always frustrating working with Candy Cane morphs because of the fact that Candy Canes are selective bred. So it just takes that much longer to get the desired results. That said, I always wanted to produce some nice Ultramel Candy Canes, and this...

    Gorgeous Ultramel Okeetee

I've been working on my ultramel okeetee project for a couple of years, and this morning I finally hatched one that I think is a gorgeous example of how a ultramel okeetee should look. Love the gorgeous wide "purple" borders on this one. The overall colouring is quite unusual, but I love it :D

    Question RE Super Pink Snow

Hi Everyone A friend of mine sent me these pics of one of his super pink snow corns. In your professional opinion, would this be considered Bubblegum, Champagne or Coral? Unfortunately he only has this one male (which originally came from USA), and he'd like very much to produce some...

    Update Pics: Ultramel Okeetee Phase

I thought I'd post some updated pics of some of my ultramel okeetee keepers. Some of them were in the blue, so I didn't bother taking pics of them. But so far I'm really pleased with their colouring:

Some nice babies from this Ultramel / RO pairing

Some pretty little ultramel okeetees hatching out of this clutch. The mother of these babies is a super nice High White Reverse Okeetee, and the father is an ultramel het caramel (with RO lineage). I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of these babies. Hopefully there will be more out by the...

Gorgeous High White Reverse Okeetee Hatchlings

These little guys started hatching yesterday as well (got 8 clutches of corns hatching at the moment ) I think some of them will be nice high whites - I'll have a better idea once they all shed.

    Ultramel Reverse Okeetee Project

Hi everyone. I thought I'd share these pics of the first ultramel ro that hatched this morning. He's gorgeous, but I'm still hoping there'll be some others with wider borders. I see some more ultramel noses pipping, so hopefully by the time I get home today, there'll be more out. I'm...
