Just a couple of quick snaps from cleaning time that I wanted to share. One of the ghost striped bloodreds that I hatched this year - I am pretty sure we're going to keep both of them as they're incredibly pretty (and feisty) little dudes. And this is the first regular cinder I've produced...

When do you think I should move these guys up from the hatchling rack to the growing-on rack? They're looking pretty squished on there, but they seem happy enough.

This boy I think is one of my best hatchlings of 09. He's a hypo bloodred, with intense diffusion and colour saturation - plus an enthusiasm for defrosted mice and a sweet engaging personality. He's het for anery and amel, and I hope once he's grown, all his babies will have all his plus points...

Just two photos I liked of one of the amel cinder girls. She's really colouring up now, and perfectly shows how much red pigment is actually present in an "anery C" cinder snake. Her on the obligatory white background: And posing in a multi-coloured slinky, to add a bit of contrast:

Paradox snakes are unusual and fairly rare - so it's not often you get to take group shots of them :) I love that the tongues are multi-coloured too!

Not sure if this is a ghost or a platinum, but whatever he is ... I think he's amazing. He's also het blood, just need to organise him some nice ladies for his first breeding season next year.
