    Cinder and ghost stripe blood

Just a couple of quick snaps from cleaning time that I wanted to share. One of the ghost striped bloodreds that I hatched this year - I am pretty sure we're going to keep both of them as they're incredibly pretty (and feisty) little dudes. And this is the first regular cinder I've produced...

Some snapshots of some of our youngsters I took recently. Our collection had some lovely additions last year, even if we have ended up a bit male-heavy. White nose pewter. Sunkissed motley Platinum Ghost bloodred Dunno

When to move up from the hatchling rack?

When do you think I should move these guys up from the hatchling rack to the growing-on rack? They're looking pretty squished on there, but they seem happy enough.

    My favouritest kitty cat

This is my seven year old boy Sienna. Out of all of my various pets, he is my absolute favourite. During sunnier times: And some photos from the snow this winter:

Intense hypo bloodred ... one of my 09 favourites

This boy I think is one of my best hatchlings of 09. He's a hypo bloodred, with intense diffusion and colour saturation - plus an enthusiasm for defrosted mice and a sweet engaging personality. He's het for anery and amel, and I hope once he's grown, all his babies will have all his plus points...

    Slinky amel cinder

Just two photos I liked of one of the amel cinder girls. She's really colouring up now, and perfectly shows how much red pigment is actually present in an "anery C" cinder snake. Her on the obligatory white background: And posing in a multi-coloured slinky, to add a bit of contrast:

09 corns for sale - UK

These are all of the hatchlings we have left for this year. Photos can be provided if necessary, just let me know. All hatchlings are feeding on defrosted mice (either multiple pinks or small fuzzies), and are ready now. We are located in Glasgow, if you'd like to arrange a courier then that's...

Cinder "detail" shots ... now and then

First of all, just a reminder of what my wee Damascus looked like back in July 2007 when he arrived here, six grams of the oddest looking grey snake I'd ever seen. And now, almost two and a half years later, he certainly can't be described as a "grey snake" anymore. The only thing still...

    Some antaresia photos

Been a long while since I photographed these - in fact, I don't know I've taken any of the Stimson's before. I love how they all share such similar features, but manage to be such different and distinguishable snakes. Pygmy pythons: Stimson's pythons: Children's pythons:

    A big pile of paradox

Paradox snakes are unusual and fairly rare - so it's not often you get to take group shots of them :) I love that the tongues are multi-coloured too!

Not sure if this is a ghost or a platinum, but whatever he is ... I think he's amazing. He's also het blood, just need to organise him some nice ladies for his first breeding season next year.

    Amel cinder baby

I was thrilled to see this little nose peeking out from my candy cane het cinder x miami het amel cinder clutch ... And here's a few out of egg shots: I'm assuming these (there's two of them) to be amel cinders - they look "off" for snows, and there's no aneries in the clutch. But we...

    A familiar pose ...

My little keeper pewter was an angry hatchling ... here he is after his first shed: So now that he's had his second shed and grown a bit, I thought I'd get a new photo of him. It seems that he only has one pose - angry! One day, I hope to get a decent photo that shows off more of him than...
