    WAAAHHHH!!!! I just lost Flash!!!

Flash would have been just 4 years old in September... I have no idea what happened to him, he died just now, I watched him, helpless to do anything. Here is all I know, perhaps someone might know something. :( The first time he showed any sign of something being wrong was back in December...

My 3 year old corn snake regurgitated...

for the first time in his life. :( I looked for reptile vets in the area as my book written by Don Soderberg advises to take the regurge sample in and have it tested for parasites. However, when I called a local vet the receptionist said she's only ever heard of testing the stool, of which I...

Saw this Ball Python today at the zoo...

Thoughts? Personally I felt concerned when I saw this snake, lots of old skin is still left on him, he was in wood shavings with a heat lamp above him and eh, I don't know, but he just didn't look right to me, besides having lots of old skin still on him, I mean, are they supposed to look...

    How aggressive...

are Florida Brown Water snakes? Just curious cause I just found one and it's VERY lethargic, close to death I suspect. It's only 58 degrees here right now, I was thinking about putting it in a box and bringing it home to warm up, otherwise I'm sure it's going to die as it didn't want to move...

Zeke - My Miami Phase from ArpeggioAngel

He is approximately 2 months and 1 week old now. He's simply gorgeous, such a perfect little snake, beautiful, with a really nice disposition. He calms down rather quickly after I pick him up and is sometimes perfectly content just to ride on my hand as I walk around. I love this little guy!!

    Identification please...

A friend of mine found this snake in her yard, sort of looks like a corn snake but not. Head and eyes look strange to me. Friend lives in Pensacola, FL. Anyone?

    Miami Phase...

Wondering if anyone out there has any Miami Phases with THICK black borders OR any BANDED Miami phases? I've decided that one of the above will be my next snake purchase. I'm in no hurry so even if someone just has PLANS for one of the above, let me know! :D Thanks!

    Question about weights of pinkies

I am following the Munson plan and I have a question. It lists the weights of the feeder mice to help with knowing what size of mouse to feed your snake... what I'm wondering is, if I wanted to know the weight of the pinkies I'm feeding my snake, would I weigh them frozen or thawed? I know...

    Confirm my assumption...

So I'm assuming that since cohabitation of corn snakes is a bad idea, that the same would apply to Ball Pythons, am I correct? Just curious cause I was browsing thru the classified ads in a local newspaper and saw that someone is selling two Ball Pythons cohabitated in the same tank. I've...

    A Corn Snake's Shed

How many of you keep all of your corn snakes' sheds? And if so, how do you store/preserve them? Flash just shed yesterday and I am thinking about keeping his shed but I don't know how best to do this. Thanks in advance for any help/tips. :)

    Question about shedding

Do snakes know to go into a moist hide if they need to in order to have a good shed? I ask because I've had a moist hide in there ever since I noticed Flash was in blue which was Tues the 12th but he has yet to use it. I had an empty vitamin bottle with moist paper towels in it set in front...

    Normal Behavior?

So here's me, being my usual worry wart self, but I can't help but worry when I've already lost one snake... Anyway, since I fed Flash two 1 day old pinkies on Friday, he has been in the eyeglass hide ever since (today is day 4 after feeding). I have not seen him come out of there AT ALL...
