  • My female cornsnake "Bee-Gi" was taken to the vet a couple of weeks ago. The vet said he suspected that she was "Gravid" and had eggs inside her. She also had a respiratory infection. We treated that 5 days with antibiotic injections. I took her back to the vet to the reptile specialist who confirmed she had about 7-8 eggs. She told me to try to feed her, which I did and she did eat 3 small mice 2 weeks ago. Then she told me to fix her a nest which I did. Bee Gi went into shed these next two weeks and she shed tonight. This is the first time I saw her take any interest in the nest. She has been in it since I helped her shed. Should I leave her alone or introduce food to her tomorrow night? She hasn't eaten in two weeks. I also hear that she is still wheezing. Should I take her back to the vet or leave her alone for a little bit?? I am worried. She has never been mated and is 5 yrs old. This is the first time she has ever done this.
