Well I fed my corn for the first time since I got him :)... I just love how active this guy is! He circled the mouse a few times to find a good angle to strike... then it was all over in a blink of an eye! It was my first time thawing and feeding a fuzzy :P it looks better than feeding a pinky

Well it was the first time that I had my new snake out, and I guess he heard somebody coming down the stairs cause he just took off! So I had to grab him... he did NOT like that! He thrashed a little bit then coiled up and started to spay me with something that stunk, and his tail started...

I got my corn on the weekend, he is about a year old (I posted pics of him)... anyway, how soon can I feed the guy? He is very active and searching all the time and is very friendly.. (handling him in the store before I purchased him.. checking for mites)..

Is it normal for, on the first day, the snake to just get so tired from trying to escape that he just sits there for a while, like against the wall? It's VERY different behavior then when I first got him (moving a LOT) but now he just sits there for quite some time.

what do you guys think about these snakes? There is one availible at the pet store (recently had an albino corn die :()... I'm going to find out how much they want for him/her. He/She is about 1.. 1 1/2 years old and very fat and healthy :)... And VERY pretty. What do you think?

A little while ago I posted that my snake had died, (it was part of another thread I had).. well anyway that was about a week and a half ago. I whent to the store where I got him from and they told me all of the snakes that they had recieved from that breeder had died! (about 3-4 snakes)... It...

The 3 rows of scales right under my little guy's head are all dried out. What does this mean? When I put him on a surface like carpet it seems like it catches and he can't move.. should I get some vasaline or something to get some moisture back into them? or are their neck scales usually dry?

I heard that most peoples corns spend most of their time inside their hides. But Mine hardly ever goes in his hides (well maybe 25% of the time)... and most the time he is out just sitting against the glass, or he is curled up in a large circle in the corners. Is this normal behavior?
