How close is a shedded skin to the real length of a snake? In other words, if I measure the length of the last shedded skin, how much should I add/subtract to come up with a realistic estimate of my corn's length?

I have a regular 'ol run of the mill amel. What would you breed to her to get a cool morph? I have the Progeny Predictor program but would like to get opinions from those who have done this before. I'm interested in colors more than patterns.

Anyone care to discuss the differences between keeping corns and kings? I saw a pic of an albino california king and really liked it. May consider getting a king. I am definitely getting a few more corns.

See if this sounds right to you folks: I measured my Amel on 8/18 at 13.5" using the snake measurer program. She shedded on 8/22. I just remeasured today, 8/31, and she hit 16". Does that sound like normal growth? I guess I could've messed up my camera angles.

Anyone know of any good pet shops (with reptiles of course) or shows in the Gulfport area around Sept. 18-20? I will be in Gulfport around that time frame and would at least like to go to a good pet shop.
