    Dominant yellow

I've been producing these for years. Could be the same as yellow-jacket/buf/toffee/oak. At any rate, I don't think they are just normals. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Heliconia Corn

What I refer to as a "Heliconia Corn". These are F1's from crossing a salmon snow (which was apparently also hom hypo and/or strawberry) to one of my specter corns (still trying to figure those out). Just like the specters, the intense pink background is difficult to render in online photos...

    Questioning the strawberry gene

I'm probably going to aggravate half of the members here and confuse the rest, but I have sincere doubts about our current understanding of the strawberry gene and its mode of inheritance. What's even more, I think it is directly tied into the red-factor discussion. Although it is wildly...

    Buf/net caramel/yellow-disease

Seeing as how my het caramels of various morphs always looked considerably different from the not-het caramels of the same morph , I'm starting to wonder if in fact they could be buf? Could buf be the explanation for the "yellow-disease" in some projects?

    Widestripes/Aztecs

These are some of my favorite corns to work with. Given that the original parents (from Serpenco) turned out to be het for amel, anery, charcoal, and lavender, no two look alike. I have bred the male to non widestriped/aztec morphs and hatched out some aberrant patterned offspring in the F1's.

    Silverqueens

Does anyone else have any interesting theories or success in proving what gives silverqueens they're distinctive look? I have a few ideas myself and have been outcrossing them to test that, but I'm interested in hearing what others think as well.

    The "Extra" Ingredient

I believe this corn is possessing the extra ingredient used to make corals/salmons. It's also het for Strawberry, Motley, and Amel. My friend Jim Stelpflug at SW Wisconsin Reptiles gave me this animal a few years back. Jim is the originator of the corals/salmons corns, as well as the strawberry...

    My Miamis

I got this pair as hatchling from Terri (crackerhead) a few years ago at Tinley. At the time they were identical.

    "Dwarf" Anery

I hatched out an oddly-proportioned anery back in 2006. I held onto her just because I thought she was interesting. She's still very small for an adult, but has bred and produced offspring. However, I never kept any back to determine if it was inheritable or not.

    My system

If order to cut back on my time in the snake room, I devised a system that splits all my snakes (currently around 100 or so) into 4 groups. Each group gets checked (sheds, spot-cleaned & fresh water) every four days. Smaller snakes get fed every four days; adult females every 8 days; and...
