    Fun pile of Stripes

    Congrats! :)

Dappled Corn Snakes (Striped Leopard Motley)

I agree that in the absence of genetic fingerprinting (which hopefully is coming soon), testing this potential mutation against Motley and Stripe in a thorough traditional "test-breeding" scheme is quite daunting. Given the previously mentioned allelic but dominant relationship between Motley...

Dappled Corn Snakes (Striped Leopard Motley)

Motley is so weird! The amount of variation in that single mutation, it's allelic but dominant relationship to Stripe, and what it does in combo with other mutations... I think there is more to Motley than we suspect :).

Can anybody help me figure out the morph I have?

Def Tessera... not seeing Ultra, or Ultramel. Congrats on your new baby :)

    Scales turning white?

Personally, I've only had this happen with males (no BloodReds btw) during breeding season, that were in tubs that were no more than ~6 inches high. Once I switched those individuals to tubs with some height (12-14 inches) and some branches to climb they all recovered.

    Dark Charcoals

Very cool project, and the results so far are beautiful! :)

    Single scales dropping

Are these perhaps just scales that did not come off when your snake last shed? When the single scales fall off, do they leave behind fully formed and normally colored scales, or is there a space left behind where a scale should be?

    Burmation

I brumate breeding size adult Corns at 55F (~13C) for 10 weeks (typically Dec. thru mid-February). If the temps start getting too warm (i.e., consistently above 60F; ~16C), as they are now where I am located (SE USA), I warm them back up. If you can't keep the temp below 60F then they will...

    oldest corn snake?

My oldest is an Okeetee Tessera named Rocky that was born in 2013, and is still an active breeder :)

Why is Fauna Classifieds not overrun with ridiculous ads?

    Robots Suck!

Is there anything that can be done to keep the robots from completely overrunning this site with posts that are not related to Corn Snakes?

    Nice looking corns, congrats!

    Something similar to Eastern indigo?

A Texas Indigo would be another good option. Basically the same snake as an Eastern Indigo, but much cheaper and no permit required :). I've seen some TX/Eastern hybrids for sale on occasion that look almost exactly like an Eastern as adults, and supposedly they are very similar as far as...

    Age

There's really no way to know exactly how old a corn snake is, especially once they are adults. With sub-adults you can make an educated guess based on size, but it's not very precise. If you want to post a photo or two of the snake in-hand or with something for scale, myself and others might...

    Baby Corn Snakes For Sale

Have you tried selling them as a "Wholesale Lot" on Fauna Classifieds or Morph Market? That can be a good route sometimes. Best of luck :)

    Help id babies please

Het Palmetto looks a lot like Hypo, so perhaps that is what you are seeing in some of them :).

    Help id babies please

Would not be surprised if #5 is Het Cinder also. You can't always recognize individuals that are Het Cinder, but many times you can.

    Help id babies please

Not sure why nobody responded here sooner... sorry about that. My eye sees the following: Caramel SK, SK, SK (possible Het Palmetto), Normal, SK, SK, SK Snow (likely Het Cinder).
