Well as you may or may not know i have tried to breed mice again. Well not too long ago i noticed my female getting very fat, it got to the point that she looked like she ate a tangerine and weight just about 90 grmas!:eek1: WEll this was her first time breeding,I have had them for only 2 months and scince they were small weanlings. well today when i woke up she gave me pinkies! and not just a few, in total 18 pinkies!! on her first time breeding ever!

That's pretty decent. But that number will go down after about 5 or 6 months. I think the big mice breeders exchange out their breeders about every 6 months or so to keep production up.
 
That's great! Yeah, Like they said!

In 4 or 5 clutches time, keep 2 of her daughters and let them grow up to be breeders themselves and then 'grandma' can help to raise the bubbies. Just make sure they have plenty of room to nest and stretch.
