FIRST TIME SNAKE OWNER

We just got our first corn snake in the mail today. She is a 6 year old retired anery breeder. She is 4.5 feet long and we are already in love with her.

My little boy named her "Flower" because he said she was the most beautiful creature he has ever seen. It melted my heart! :)

We have never owned a snake before, but are really excited to dive right in. She has so much more personality than we even expected!!

We are so grateful for this forum. We have had so many of our newby questions answered already. Tomorrow will be our first feeding. Wish us luck! (xx fingers crossed xx)

Oh, we bought her from www.ivoryexotics.com and Brittany has been WONDERFUL to buy from![/COLOR]

Here is a picture of her on a wall I made using the "Lizard Landscapes" method. Styrofoam, grout, acrylic paint, and a non toxic sealant.

Congratulations!! She's beautiful. How sweet of your son :) She's beautiful. It's great that you most likely saved a snake's life by buying a retired racer instead of just a new corn snake that might not have found such a lucky home. I hope you enjoy many years with her!!

We fed her and it went great. She ate like a champ. I couldn't belive how fast she struck at the dead mouse. I actually yelled out "oh, !" before I could even think. I think I jumped, too. LOL!
