oh by the way he was labeled "red corn snake" but i know he's not just a regular corn snake cuz they had another one that was brownish red labled "regular corn snake"

ive heard a lot of different names, can you tell me what mine is??? Is it just a "red corn snake"? Hes got some orange colors around his head.
Thanks

Cute little snake. He looks like a normal (wild type) to me. Since "red" and "regular" aren't typical names for any morph, the labels at the place of purchase don't seem to be good indicators of morph in this case. There's a lot of variability in normal hatchlings, and the "red" and "regular" descriptions you gave both fall within this range of variability. The orange coloration on yours is typical of normals as well. Good luck.

Welcome to the forums. Looks like a nice little normal you got there. What part of Florida are you in? I'm in Pinellas Co.

I am in Lake County right now to finish up school, originally from Marion county and will be moving back soon.

I just thought he was a bit more colorful than the corn snakes i used to catch out in my field and he was more expensive than the "regular corns' so i thought he might be a morph or whatever its called.. LOL.

i wanted to edit my pictures, but i can't find a place to edit them, so i will add the updated pics.. LOL
I made his hide boxes a little better so he'd feel secure. i cut out cardboard and added "walls" so he can have a nice little dark cubby hole! what do you think? better???
