Variety Pack!

Bobo's Mama

proud corn mommy!
I've got six fuzzies all from the same mom, and I'm wondering if someone can help idenify the varieties that are represented. First some background: Dad is a Dove with pink eyes. Mom is dad's daughter and is black. Previously, when dad was bred to Black's mom, all the babies were black. Also, when he was bred to my Agouti female, all babies were Agouti. Now that he is bred to his own daughter, I get this much variety in one litter. I fed two others off before I realized there was this much variety. Here is what I see in the litter. 2 blacks, 1 chocolate, 1 tan, and the light ones. The light ones look the same at first, but too me, in real life, one of them is lighter. I think one is silver and the other is dove like Dad. Both of the lighter ones have pink eyes like Dad. All the others have dark eyes. What do you guys think? I'm really happy with this new mom, if she throws this much variety every litter. Theirs no reason feeders need to be boring, right?:crazy02:

Instead of me trying to explain the genetics of your mice, take a look at this site, courtesy of Sasheena. This is probably the best site i have seen concerning mouse genetics, colors, and names for colors/types. Hopefully, this site will help with your questions.

Thanks. .... I just thought it would be fun to play guess that "morph". They're just feeders, I'm not breeding them to sell or anything.
