T+ Albino or Nice Normal

What exactly is T+? She seems like a nice normal to me, but an explanation of what a T+ albino would help with my response at least. Some people who have more breeding experience might know better.

Ask yourself why T+ bred to something not T+ results in washed out saddles and a yellow nose, again... and while you are asking yourself, do a search on T+ and maybe on Frosteds as well.

Marc said in the title of the traid that is is the F1 from opal x T+, so I guess it is a normal het. opal and T+.

...or (MORE LIKELY) and ultramel hey lavender! If he's show an image of it as a NEONATE, it'd be a cinch to tell it from a normal or an ultramel-like animal. I suspect he already knows it is an ultramel, which is why he bred it to an opal instead of a normal that wasn't even het for albino)

That would be great, since all I saw until now are animals that are subadult and show washed out saddles and lots of yellow. Shouldn't be a problem to cross such a T+ with an Amelanistic and show mixed offspring...
...the question is, why do we see T+ for over 3 years now and none of the crossings that would prove/disprove the Hibird thing? :dunce:

I would eat my hat if this animals did not prove out to be ultramel.. Like KJ mentioned, Ultramels were refered to as T + .. Of course you mention T + to certain groups of folks in the community and they think your nuts.. I understood exactly what you said, and I was not suprised to see an ultramel picture linked in the thread.. Use the Ultramel term rather than T+ because people will understand the animal your describing.. It is a codominant gene like it has been mentioned.. Breed it to an amel your going to get half amels and half ultramels..

Regards... Tim of T and J
