Advice on Feeding Young Corn Snakes Pls!

Lets see. I got my corn snake around 3 and 1/2 months ago. I fed him 1 single 2 ounce pinky every week. But i noticed it started becoming alot more active at night searching for food. So i recently started feeding 2 pinkies. I know that ur supposed to feed meals no larger than 1.5 times the size of the widest part of the body. But can anyone tell me in a more detailed guide when it should be eatin what sized meal or how many pinkies till it goes on to fuzzies. A guide thats maybe age wise or by weight/size would help alot more. Thanks for your time and help!

I think even Dean ("Roy") would see it as a guide rather than gospel. Each Corn is an individual - a feeding regime that makes one obese, might prove to be a maintenance diet for another. They all metabolise food slightly differently and they all grow at different rates.

Having said that, The Munson Plan is an excellent starting point. Try it out, and adjust the plan for your own needs, if you find that your Corn needs slightly more/less.

My '07 Corn should be pretty well in to hoppers according to the plan, but he/she will just have nothing to do with anything that big. I don't worry about it, and give it a couple medium to large fuzzies. No big deal. The snake is doing great and I don't worry about it.
