Hey guys.
I've just decided to look for my first snake and I'm positive it's going to be a corn snake.
I was looking at a few corn snakes but I really dont know much about them. I'll be sure to do my research before buying one but does anyone have any tips or recomendations on what snake to buy?
I was looking at a ghost motley corn snake from BHB reptiles but has anyone used them and are they reliable?

One more thing- How often should I feed a corn snake and what should I feed it? How big should the average corn snake get? (Pounds\Length)

Thank you. And another question I live In Arizona and inside my house it's 76 to 80 degrees how should I heat or cool my tank and how do I add humidity because it's 10 to 20% humidity

I would still heat one side cause you want the warm side too be around 85 deg.you could use cypress for the humidity issue. when it dries out you can just mist your enclosure and not worry so much about mold or mildew. hope this helps.
p.s. good choice on your choice on a new pet:)

Yeah I was planning on heating atleast half of the tank to around 83-85 degrees. Is cypress as popular as aspen? Because everyone seems to use aspen for safety purposes apparently. Should I mist the cage immediately or should I see if the snake sheds well without it?

you could see how your snake sheds when you get one, and if does not shed well try the cypress which hold humidity real well and is mold and mildew resistant.

Thanks want to do me one more favor? If ur anery is 1 year old or older post pics please

Another option if you have shedding problems is to use a humid hide. When you see your snake go blue you can put in a little dish (for my smaller snakes I use rubbermaid sandwhich containers with a hole cut into it) and put some moist sphagnum moss in it. Then after it sheds you can take it out.
