Hey there, my name's Emily, and I'm thelegendarystm's girlfriend. I figured I should probably get my own username instead of just sharing his :) Adam and I live in Dover, NH, and we just picked up our first corn snake last night. He's a baby, very cute, looks like a nice little amel. He's got a cute marking of what looks like a "C" with a crown on top, on his head. I'll try to get some pictures of him later, he's buried himself for now and as we handled him a lot while we were choosing him, I don't want to disturb him right now. He also hasn't eaten yet, although that may be because he was housed with a lot of other baby snakes and is still very young. We've named him (or her) Cornwallis, kind of as a pun, and also because I'm a confirmed Anglophile and wanted a nerdy, British-y, history type name. General Lord Cornwallis was one of the major British generals during the Revolutionary War. All credit goes to Adam for coming up with the name.

As for myself, besides our new snake, I have two cats, O'Reily and Lukie, and a betta fish, Admiral Charles von Charles, The Crimson Dreadfish, Defender of the Bowl, Vanquisher of Mirrors, and Scourge of all Wormkind ( I usually just call him the Admiral). Besides animals, my interests include reading, playing World of Warcraft, knitting, Paganism, and being outdoors. I love this forum already, everyone is so friendly and there's so much great information here. Adam, Cornwallis, are looking forward to getting to know you all! Cheers!

Welcome aboard, Emily! Good to have both of you on here. Hope you have fun and I also hope that you get to share pics of your corn soon.

Welcome and i love the admirals name. Which server do you play? ( i'm currently off the warcraft for 3 months now) i'm a bit of an addict if i don't keep away from such things. Enjoy

I wanna post some pictures of Cornwallis in the worst way, but it's so hard to get good ones in the tank, when he only comes out at night (we have to turn the room lights off before he'll deign to show his face). I don't want to disturb him, because I really want him to eat his first meal on Friday. Must....resist....

Welcome Emily. Love the names :D I'm also a WoW addict - on the Icecrown server though. My mom taught me to knit when I was young and I'm attempting to learn to crochet :headbang: Look forward to some pics of the Gen., esp. a head shot.
