I found this forum while doing some research for choosing a new pet. My dad offered to buy me everything I needed for a new pet (whatever I wanted:cheers:he really is the best) as the rest of my family have their own pets. My hubby has his pigeons, son has his tarantula, daughter has her canaries & the dog is a family pet but I wanted one of my own. I decided to go for a corn snake because I have always been fascinated by snakes & from what I have read they are the best snake to have as family pets & I know that my son & daughter (10 & 3) will want to be involved with the care. I don't have my snake yet, it is ordered & paid for along with everything needed. I think the snake I will be getting is just a "normal" corn snake which is ok with me but looking through the photo gallery here I know (hope) it will not stop at that. You guys will probably hear a lot of questions from me in a week or so when I finally get my very own first ever pet & I hope to learn a lot from the experts on here
