Stolen
Just a fun show we had at the barn I ride at. Attached are pictures of me on either Cajun or Emmy. Cajun is the chestnut and Emmy is the grey. Was sharing Emmy with another girl so you may see someone else on her and Cajun with his owner. I had a lot of fun and even placed in some of the things. Not that I cared, I was there to ride and to have fun. I was on horse back for 7 hours (off and on), best way to get around without a doubt.
1st. Im the one in the back, black shirt. I dont remember what we were waiting around on.
2nd. Black shirt. Again not sure what we were waiting on. Emmy is the pony with the girl in the green riding her.
3rd. Keyhole race. They had drawn a "keyhole" with lime? and you had to go into it and turn without going outside the lines. Emmy and I did very well. We have been working on just this though more for working with cows but it worked out well. I was very pleased when she responded to my aids, shows that hard work pays off. The girl I was sharing her with also ran this race and they went outside of the line, however, she did not know the cues I had been teaching Emmy. I don't want to sound like I am bragging or anything but after a year of riding Emmy she responds better to me then she does her owners but I also don't let her get away with any of her games. Moving on.
4th. Ribbon race. Brian (Cajun and Emmy's owner) is on Cajun. We won this race. Goes to show that when you pony horses together they are not going to care when they have to stay close to each other. Damn ribbon kept sticking to me since it was misting on us and it was that paper stuff. My hand was blue for awhile.
5th. Same as above. Not sure why we had stopped though.
More coming!
