It piss me so bad.
So if you want a beautiful and mean snake, get a BRB! Love him to death, but let's just say that the only way he professes his love is via striking.

He's a baby, so his true colors are yet to come. His dad is high orange, so I'm hoping that comes out in him. He's also het hypo.

yaaay i love BRB's! what a gorgeous little baby you have there!

and i will second that, they are FIESTY little buggers! out of all 20 snakes i have, the BRB's are the ones that have bit me the most. the female even got me in the face, right on the fleshy part of my cheek!

I agree that if you want a beautiful snake, then BRB's are right at the top. I wouldn't say that they're mean though, because of all of the snakes I own, I would consider my BRB to be the most docile. She has never bitten, never struck, and is always calm and slow moving in my hands. I guess it's just a matter of the individual, and perhaps as a whole they may be relatively nippy as babies.

Absolutely gorgeous snakes too, and the het. Hypo is great!!!
 
Thanks guys! He's a handful, and I've gotten it in the face too! I went to "kiss" him (nose bump) and BAM! I'm a genius. And I'm sure there's some wonderful ones out there. I'm really hoping he'll grow out of it. And he's just come out of blue, so hopefully I'll have some great pics to share soon.
 
BRBs are so pretty....doesn't the attitude just add to their character?

I've never seen a hypo one in real life, but I think I prefer the normals. They're "rainbow-ness" is just nice on its own.
 
Nice looking BRB! All the ones I've encountered (okay, like 3...lol) have been quite sweet. Hopefully yours is just having a few 'teen' months...one of my BCI ladies had a week like that.

BTW, love the triceratops head in his viv!! I was obsessed with dinosaurs when I was little...
 
Thanks, I love that dinosaur! Unfortunately I broke it's jaw off, but I stuck it back in there anyway. If Axel complains, I'll just tell him that only nice BRBs get completely intact dino skulls.

Also (upon request) picture of him on the dinosaur was taken by the lovely Krusten (RowanRR).
 
Axel just shed, so we did a micro extremely poor photoshoot. Lighting wasn't very good, but he gets more iridescent after every shed.

Gorgeous BRB.. I think it's weird you guys have had problems with them being someone aggressive. My girls awesome. I am just a little more careful when I get her out. Once she is out thous she's just like my corns. :)
 
Well it's certainly mostly when I take him out. I just pick him up with tongs now and then put him on my hand and he's fine. Plus he's a baby, so he's naturally nippy.
