my hognose babies

Kali

lost cause
A few weeks ago I bought these sweeties. Both het for albino, but I'll have to wait a while before I can try that out :)
I've been wanting hognoses for a while now, and now finally they are here!! And so cute !! :D
First two pics are from the male, he's a very calm one, doesn't scare easily and ate the first pinky I offered him like a trooper.
Last two are the female, really shy (as you can see :D) and hisses at me every time I come near. Acting all dangerous :). She took a long time before she accepted food, but yesterday she finally ate!! It was a live pinky, but I'm just glad she wanted it. A few more and I'll try the F/T again.
I'm so happy with them both !!!:dancer:

They are so cute! Hognoses are adorable snakes, but babies are even better! Thanks for sharing, and congrats on the new acquisition!

Congrats on your new snake! I just got my first corn snake about a month ago so it's kinda soon but I'm 99% sure when I get a new snake it's gonna be a hognose! Funny how I had my snake for like a week before I started researching what other snakes I wanted lol.

thanks everybody. They do have a face designed to be cute :D
And in a few years time, I'll hopefully have my own baby hoggies from them. Seems like keeping snakes is always waiting!!!

I love hognose snakes. Just wish western hognose snakes were legal here in our state. They are on the state endangered species list

Hoggies definitely have the ~cute~ thing going on. I think hoggie hatchling eating pictures would be the ultimate in cute. nom nom nom. Hoggies are on my list for the future (which keeps expanding!)

So post us some feeding pictures some time! Your hoggies look sweet. I hope the little girl becomes a good eater soon.

here you go :)
