Just got these from Rich about 3 weeks ago. Pics were taken over Easter Weekend. I am completely in love with these two amel motley's! Guess which one is the feisty male!

That second one was the 'monster'. I don't know what his problem was the day I was taking pictures, but he was not liking the camera or me. He was settled in for the most part, so not concerned that it was still from shipping, but just wasn't happy. He was like a little fire-cracker!

The last couple days that I've cleaned his cage or changed water, he's just given a little tail rattle and that's about it. Not the jump and strike he was giving me the day the pic was taking.

Either way, he's really only 1 of 40 that shocked me with his reaction! I'm sure he'll tame down.

BTW, is it just me or do amel motleys always, or nearly always, have a lighter head than the body? I just got another amel motley from another source, and the head is very noticeabley lighter than the rest of the pattern?
