Very nice!
how old is he? He sure looks totally different from my amel bloodred....
mines are dark red....and yours is orangish.....

I wonder if mine will turn out like yours...or more of a dark red one....
really really nice!!!!!!!!

Yes My Amel Bloodred is very Orange... I really cant explain it... Hes only 1 year old... about 29-30in long, he'll be able to breed next year (at least if he tries) hes eating 2 adult mice every week... so hes going to grow... hes under bellys markings match his color... when I say underbelly marking I mean the Bloodred under markings...

Here are some of my pictures of my amel bloodred....

Very interesting I love his head pattern... very bright red... HMMM I know your lil guy is a baby since he has quite a bit of white on him... I know he'll grow out of it... Looks really nice... I'm not sure but alot of the photos Ive seen of Amel Bloodreds, is that they due turn to a orangish color... but when they hit adulthood they start to become more red... I just dont understand it though... how could the Hypo bloodred be brighter then the Amel Bloodred? all the Hypo gene does is faded out the black... so shouldnt a Amel bloodred be brighter then a Hypo Blood?

Well I think that this is what the hypo gene does...
it does fade out the black in amels and it also gets the red brighter. (Well this might be caused by the reduced black on them making the red look brighter)

Yeah mine's still a hatchling from 2002. So he's still small. But everytime I see it, it's getting redder and redder....and it's also getting brighter too....

I got mine from Don and the amel bloodred that I see on his site is what I really want. It looks so bright red!! I love that coloring...
I do hope that both of our amel bloodreds would turn out like that..that'll be great!
