10 month old corn eating?

My corn snake Herman, is 10 months old, he started out kinda scary, and with a Lot of help from this group I have got him to a VERY healthy snake. I will post pics soon (I just got a new Camera).
I had been feeding him pinkys once a week , but now I swiched him to Fuzzys, and I feed him about every 10 days. It seems to work for him, he has more time to settle down after a meal. a fuzzy takes him about 3 days to settle and poop. this sound ok?? I was afraid I was over feeding him..he was shedding every month, he has gotten to be around 20" long. I feed him fozen also.

Why every 10 days? That's a schedule more suited to a recent regurger or an adult (as in 3-ish years old) male. Did he start off very tiny?

Pepper, he was very small and had mites and bad bugs in his internals, I took him to a vet for 4 weeks to get treatments and the last week she force fed him, that was 5 months ago, he is fine now eats really good, no regurge, just the 10 day feeding seems to agree with him, He is healthy, and active, Vet said that should be fine also.

The feeding regime is conservative, but it certainly sounds like it suits him nicely.

I'm a great fan of tweaking feeding routines to fit individuals. I had one of my adult males on one large mouse every three weeks, all year round - he was still the biggest Corn I owned at the time. One size doesn't fit all and it's always good to be cautious with the slow starters.
