Hey guys, I've been playing around with my camera a lot lately and this guy has become my absolute favorite subject.
So I figured I might as well share a couple of the hundreds of pictures I have of him.
I've yet to get any good tongue shots. D:

Here goes:

This one's a little washed out and weird, but his eyes look awesome, so...

He absolutely loves playing in towels. XD

I figured I'd share this one since you can't really see his yellow in the other pictures.

The original files were huge and I lost a ton of detail when I resized them. :(
Maybe I'll crop some of the original pictures to show some detail and post 'em later.
Yes, I realize they're pretty much all headshots. I'm trying so hard to get good tongue/eye pictures. It's just not working. Haha. :headbang:

Anyway, thanks for looking. :D

Maybe I have to offer some towels to my snake, too, to get some good shots of her.
Great pictures!

I don't usually use towels when I'm taking pictures of him, I just use them when he's being really squirmy and active so he can calm down a little, or just to play around. He just likes burrowing and hiding in towels, and I can manipulate them and crunch them up a bunch so that he has new 'places' to explore.

Plus, when I don't predict he's about to take a crap when I have him out but he does anyway it's a lot easier to clean up.

When I take pictures I like to take him outside or have him inside with a bunch of windows open and natural light coming in. When he's inside, I like to use blankets so that there's a nice solid background instead of a lovely distracting shot of my house or the weird texture of a towel. That's just me though.

Thanks for the replies. :)

Hey guys, it's been a while so I thought I'd share some more pictures. And since this thread didn't get a whole lot of wear and tear I figured I'd spare everyone by putting them here rather than making an entirely new thread for a few crappy pictures. Haha.

I'm just gonna post one first to make sure they're not too big.

Thought this one was kinda cool:

And this was just one of the pictures I used as a reference for the pictures I'll put in the next post:

I'm pretty sure this isn't where I should be posting these few pictures, but they're based off of a dream I had of Smeagol and pictures of him, as well as his feeder mice, were referenced.

This was a surrealism project. It was based off of a dream I had and turned out to be NOTHING like the dream, but kinda cool nonetheless.

I snapped a few pictures a while back and the quality was really bad, but it's better than nothing.

The whole piece:

And some detailish shots (or as close I could get with the camera and bad lighting):

Ah, hope I don't get in trouble for sharing these here. :S
