2011 Hatchling Update (LOTS OF PICS)

LOTS OF PICTURES. So be warned when trying to load this. I'll try to split it up between several posts. I figured its been a long enough time since I posted them - but now they've grown. Out of the 15, all but three are eating on their own. Ten of those eating on their own are on f/t, one is still on live.

Only one baby is kinked so far that I can tell, and it is very minor. He is one of the non-feeders who has been assisted successfully twice (as well as the other two)..they seem to be handling it fine and are doing great. The kinked one acts just like the others - he's spunky, alert, etc.

This came from an anery het amel to an amber het amel. I was told that both anery and amber parents were het motley but none of the hatchlings had motley. I didn't even know they were het amel until the babies hatched.

Also, some of them are now in their second shed (only two so far)..which means I need to start figuring out who is a holdback! (Though I already know of at least three definites..)

I also apologize on some of the picture qualities. My camera has completely and totally died - it won't even load pictures from the memory card (so its junk)...so all these were taken with my camera outside.

Also because of all the pictures I'll post a pic plus links to the rest if there are any other good ones (of the same snake of course). I only have one name picked out so far..but its subject to change.

When I figure out who is staying with me as a hold back or permanently, I'll do another progression thread in a month of those guys. =)

Here we are:

Only good picture of this one.

((Continued in next thread)

The last three shown are the non-feeders I've been assist feeding. So they look kinda runty/small compared to the rest.

I'm not sure if it's your camera or my screen, but those last two amels seem to have no red. They're BEAUTIFUL. :D

Thank you! And I know! They're all actually very orange with some pink. I'm noticing like a light lavender border to their saddles too. They're interesting little beauties too. =)
